About Us
Comprising: Bais Yaakov Chevra, Chabad Student Organization, Chayenu Chevra, and Leviim Chevra Bais Yaakov Chevra: The mission of this student organization is to give those students with a Bais Yaakov grade education an opportunity to engage with like-minded students in meaningful discussion about Jewish philosophy and Halachic conversations. Chabad Student Organization: Chabad Student Organization is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for students at Yeshiva University to promote spiritual growth, in-depth learning, community engagement, and the deepening of Jewish identity. We aim to inspire students to embrace their heritage, practice acts of kindness, and contribute positively to the broader world, all while cultivating meaningful connections within the YU community. Chayenu Chevra: The system of learning Chitas ensures that daily, Jews ground themselves in their connection to Hashem through Torah by learning the daily Aliyah from the weekly Torah portion, through Tefillah by reciting the daily portion of Tehillim, and through better understanding Neshamos by learning Tanya. And the bigger, the better - Chayenu is a weekly learning booklet that includes these portions in an accessible, bilingual Hebrew-English format with additional enrichment sections such as daily Parsha insights, Rambam, and Halacha from Kitzur Shulchan Aruch. For people who are looking for a daily dose of Torah, we want to enable their learning through resources and community chavrutot. Leviim Chevra: To join together, as Levites, to learn more about Levite things from Levite rebbeim.
